Just Looking, Our Final Season For The Year

Just in case some of you are wondering, YAM will have a series called Just Looking starting 6th September (and no, it will not comprise of an escape room adventure every week, I'll get a heart attack).

"You'll explore the extraordinary life of Jesus Christ as you read about his birth, teaching, miracles, trial, death and resurrection. And along the way, you'll be able to think through for yourself some of the questions you have about the Christian faith".

The idea is to get a friend who's curious about Christianity and to find out for his or herself who Jesus is. Or, you could take a look for yourself and discover Jesus all over again. There will be refreshment provided over the duration of the discussion, so if you're scared of being asked questions you can always pretend to be eating something and people will be none the wiser. We hope this will provide an amiable approach towards those coming for the first time.

Do PM me if you have any questions, or email at yam14@outlook.com

Feedback Form For All

Hi everyone! Now that DWYAM has been running for quite a few months, the committee would like to know how you've found it so far through this feedback form. For new members, it will also be an opportunity for you to let us know what you would like to see in YAM as well. If you feel that you have more to say about the running of DWYAM, do feel free to email us. We'd appreciate your honest feedback, so we can make the relevant adjustments to the upcoming YAM sessions. It may take some time to implement them though, so please be patient with us (:  You can the form here.

Thanks for your time!

Gospel Rally, Along With Other Updates

Hi all

This week, from the 11th-13th of July, there will be Gospel Rally held at Bethesda Hall, Depot Walk. For those who are unfamiliar, Gospel Rally is an evangelistic event held by Bethesda Hall almost annually. Performances range from skits to musicals to choir singing. This year it will be a mime entitled, 'What is Your Life?'. The program will run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at 10 Depot Walk.

On another note, next week from the 19th of July to the 30th of August, every Saturday, DWYAM will be holding a series called 'The Reason For God - Belief in an Age of Skepticism'. This series is done by Tim Keller, a well-known Christian author. In this series, he addresses each doubt and explains each reason. To find out more you can head over to our Topics Covered section of this blog or you can visit Tim Keller's website. If you are unsure what it will be like, you can come down to our first session on the 19th of July.

We hope to see you at both of this months events. Till next time!
(P.S. The 'Reason for God' series runs on every Saturday, not every day from 19th July to 30th August. Flyer will be out soon.)

Hello Again!

Hi YAs,

It's been awhile since the last update!

In the past couple of weeks, we've had One Voice and ABC. Now, it's back to the regular YAM schedule!

In the coming week, we will be having our last workshop on Digging Deeper into God's work and how we can apply some of the techniques that we have gathered in the last to sessions.

Coming up in July will be our yearly event, the Assembly Gospel Rally that will be running from 11-13 July 2014 (Friday - Sunday). Do continue to pray for the preparations that are being made and for the friends that you are intending to invite.

Do keep a lookout for updates on the schedule!

See you on Sat!
