YAM JAM 18 April 2015

For the YAM JAM happening on the 18th of April, our objective would be to praise God and strengthen fellowship by learning new worship songs together. We would also like to test out some of the more unfamiliar songs on the draft new song book shortlist, to help the Song Book Committee get a feel of the ground upon to introducing them.

Bethesda Hall Youth Dialogue on 14 March 2015

Hi guys, this is a reminder and appeal to church members to attend this Saturday (14 March 2015) evening's dialogue with the elders from 7-9 pm at Depot Walk, do RSVP to bethesdahall@gmail.com for catering purposes, e.g. "I will be attending the dialogue - <insert name/initials/nickname/pen name/the name your bff gave you>"

Our leaders have asked us to gather as one community to share with us on important issues that are directly relevant to our concerns. Some very good questions and suggestions have been submitted.

Please exercise your responsibility as a Young Adult of our community to be there.

DWYAM's Get Together on 1st Feb

Hello everyone

It is with great joy that I can say we are back! Our first gathering will be on the 1st of February after church followed by orientation :)

It will be a good get together as a community, pray for one another and see how we can grow together in 2015!

Just a little heads up on what's in store for 2015:

• Prayer partners

Christmas, and such...

Hi all

As we’ve approach the end of 2014, let us not forget the blessings we’ve had through the year. And even if we’ve had some unpleasant moments, let us find encouragement from one another and strength from the almighty God.

We would like to thank all those who have participated in the recent caroling over the past two weekends. Without you this event would not have been possible - really, we mean it, how else would there be singing? We would like to also thank those who have opened up their house for fellowship during this Christmas season.

We’d also like to thank all who have attended our events and Saturday meetings. We know it requires quite a bit of effort to make your way down to Depot Walk. Each one of you has been a blessing and an encouragement to all of us in the comm.

Just Looking, Our Final Season For The Year

Just in case some of you are wondering, YAM will have a series called Just Looking starting 6th September (and no, it will not comprise of an escape room adventure every week, I'll get a heart attack).

"You'll explore the extraordinary life of Jesus Christ as you read about his birth, teaching, miracles, trial, death and resurrection. And along the way, you'll be able to think through for yourself some of the questions you have about the Christian faith".

The idea is to get a friend who's curious about Christianity and to find out for his or herself who Jesus is. Or, you could take a look for yourself and discover Jesus all over again. There will be refreshment provided over the duration of the discussion, so if you're scared of being asked questions you can always pretend to be eating something and people will be none the wiser. We hope this will provide an amiable approach towards those coming for the first time.
